My work is grounded in mindfulness-based cognitive behavioral therapy and acceptance-based approaches. This is not passive or purely insight-driven therapy. It is structured, intentional, and focused on helping people work directly with thoughts, urges, emotional reactions, and patterns of avoidance.
Insight matters—but lasting change comes from what you do differently.
Together, we will:
- Identify the patterns that keep you stuck by exploring important life experiences, relational dynamics, and day-to-day struggles
- Work directly with thoughts, urges, emotions, and behavioral reactions rather than avoiding or suppressing them
- Reduce avoidance, compulsive responding, and other patterns that reinforce suffering
- Build the capacity to tolerate discomfort, stay grounded, and respond more intentionally
- Develop greater alignment between your actions, values, and the life you want to live
At the center of my work is the belief that meaningful change happens most effectively within a space that is supportive, honest, and nonjudgmental. I aim to bring compassion, empathy, curiosity, and directness into the therapeutic relationship while helping individuals develop greater self-compassion, self-understanding, and accountability.
Accountability does not require shame or harshness.
In therapy, we work toward developing the ability to look clearly at patterns, behaviors, and consequences with honesty and responsibility—while also maintaining compassion for the parts of ourselves that have struggled, adapted, or learned to survive in difficult ways.
I take a whole-person approach to healing that recognizes the connection between mind, body, relationships, culture, and meaning. Therapy is not simply about symptom reduction—it is about creating the conditions for meaningful and sustainable change.
Structured and Intentional
Clear, active therapy focused on patterns and behavior—not vague conversation alone.
A Different Relationship to Your Mind
Many struggles are shaped not only by what you think or feel, but by how you relate to those experiences.
Accountability without shame
Supportive, honest therapy that encourages self-understanding and accountability without judgment or harshness.
Real-World Change
The goal is not just to feel better. The goal is to function differently in your life.
